There is an ever-widening gap between the pool of cybersecurity talent available to hire versus the explosive need for this specialized talent. Today, companies use very traditional methods to secure talent: hire recent college graduates or "buy" talent from their competitors. This is true regardless of industry type or employer; all face the same struggle to hire skilled talent. This webinar will share an additional solution for employers to fill their urgent talent needs that allows them to drive the design and the outcome: apprenticeships. Purdue University has established a U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program, developed with companies in mind. This webinar will illustrate how this apprenticeship program is helping employers upskill and/or find new talent to fill their cybersecurity talent and skills gap.
